Some lead. Some follow. Zhade is content to just hang around
Zhade is a Mipedian Stalker and an infiltrator agent of his Tribe.
Zhade resembles a frill-necked helmeted lizard combined with one of the many specimens of a greater short-horned lizard, having a long and slim golden brown body, with an irregular fire-brick red frill around his neck, big paws with sharpened claws and a strong, moderately long tail with Goldenrod Flower yellow horns along his spine and to the side of his face. He has big and shallowed medium-blue eyes and no teeth, instead, his strong jaw shapes the slopes and curves usually formed by a dentition.
Like most of the Mipedians — and lizards in general — Zhade doesn’t wear any clothing, having just big light-olive coloured gauntlets and pauldrons of a medium-brown border with simple golden ornaments.
Personality & Behaviour
Despite his appearance, Zhade is a docile Mipedian who usually acts awkwardly when accompanying high-ranked members of his Tribe and tends to show genuine happiness when chosen for a task, no matter what, even if he’s not who’ll actually execute it — as briefly seen during the events of Scavenger Scan. Very agitated, when he finally quiets down he’s often seen hanging by his tail or sticking in a wall, smiling, almost always upside-down.
Even though he’s a skilled infiltrator, often assigned to stalk enemies for Intel, Zhade doesn’t look interested in the ongoing war let alone to making enemies.
Zhade is a well-balanced Creature. Brave, powerful, fast and smart enough for a common-ranked Mipedian. Even though he’s not very resilient, thanks to his Invisibility, he always has a combat edge. And with his affinity to the Air Element sided with his movement swiftness, he can cause quite a havoc right at the beginning of a battle, with Attacks like Turbulence Funnel.
Zhade makes sure that those spies unfortunate enough to learn what was unearthed never report their findings
While the excavation of the City of Kehn-sep discovered by Taffial in search for The Cothica Tablet seems to be a collaborative effort between Mipedians, Danians and OverWorlders, it is a secret undertaking nonetheless. Whatever is found within the walls of the Tablet Sanctuary mustn’t be of public knowledge until their writings are fully transcribed by the translation team — admittedly, Donmar and Tharc — and, just like with the Guardians of the Doors of the Deepmines, each one of the Tribes involved assigned a sentinel to protect these findings. As for the Mipedians, comes into play the Dig site Defender.
Zhade, now much faster, powerful and resilient, even with a limited understanding of the ultimate goal, acknowledges the importance of the assignment and uses his Invisibility to contain any infiltration endeavour that may threaten or compromise the expedition within the boundaries of the dig site. Even though Zhade officially remains a Stalker, like many of the Mipedian Warriors he now masters the Earth Element, drastically increasing his efficacy in striking down any trespassers in the first opportunity, as he’s now capable of using Attacks like Whirling Wail and Thunder Shout at their prime.
Zhade appears, in Perim or in Chaotic, in the following episodes:
